I currently work as a Senior PR & Content Manager for the international cybersecurity company Whalebone, which focuses on DNS security for telcos, ISPs, and enterprises.
I earned my Master’s degree in Literature and Intercultural Communication at Masaryk University, with specialized courses in translation and editorial work. I obtained my Bachelor’s degree in English for Business Administration at Tomas Bata University, with multiple subjects focusing on linguistics, marketing, and economics. I have studied English literature, linguistics, and economics at Volda University College in Norway.

I was lucky to have the opportunity to work in various countries and hold diverse positions. As part of the Erasmus+ programme, I spent one semester at Volda University College in Norway. During my university studies, I spent every summer working either in the UK or the US. Between 2019–2020, I lived and worked in Calgary, Canada. I held multiple positions, including an editor in a local magazine and Digital Content Coordinator at the University of Calgary. I now reside in Brno, Czech Republic.
I have dipped my feet in the translation waters, and I have worked as a technical translator for almost four years. I’ve translated eleven books that are currently circulating the Czech book market, with the twelth on the way.
