I am a copywriter, editor, and literary and technical translator. I currently work as a Content Manager for the international cybersecurity company Whalebone which focuses on DNS security for telcos, ISPs, and enterprises.
I acquired my Master’s degree in Literature and Intercultural Communication at Masaryk University, with specialized courses in translation and editorial work. I obtained my Bachelor’s degree in English for Business Administration at Tomas Bata University, with multiple subjects focusing on linguistics, marketing, and economics. I have studied English literature, linguistics, and economics at Volda University College in Norway.
I have worked in a plethora of countries in multiple positions. I have spent every single summer of my university studies working either in the UK or the US. In the autumn of 2020, I returned to the Czech Republic from an almost two-year working stay in Canada.
I have dipped my feet in the translation waters and I have worked as a technical translator for almost four years. There are now six books circling the Czech book market that I have translated and a seventh one is on its way.
